The Onboarding Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the organization’s onboarding function with a focus on delivering a structured, efficient, and engaging joining experience for new employees.

The role involves designing scalable onboarding frameworks, ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders, and driving initiatives that enhance early employee engagement and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Onboarding Strategy & Process Excellence

  • Design and implement a structured onboarding framework aligned with organizational goals and workforce requirements.
  • Develop and standardize onboarding policies, processes, and documentation to ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance onboarding efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements, documentation standards, and organizational policies during onboarding.

2. End-to-End Onboarding Management

  • Oversee the complete onboarding lifecycle from offer acceptance to successful employee integration.
  • Ensure timely completion of joining formalities including documentation, verification, and system enablement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure new employees receive necessary tools, resources, and access prior to joining.
  • Manage onboarding activities for multiple roles and locations while maintaining process consistency.

3. Induction & Employee Integration

  • Design and deliver structured induction and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Facilitate smooth integration of employees into the organization by introducing them to company culture, processes, and expectations.
  • Work closely with business leaders and HR teams to support the early-stage transition of new employees.
  • Ensure new hires are equipped with the required knowledge and resources to perform effectively in their roles.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Coordination

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, IT, and business teams to ensure seamless onboarding execution.
  • Partner with leadership and departmental stakeholders to align onboarding activities with business requirements.
  • Act as a central point of contact for onboarding-related communication and coordination.

5. Onboarding Experience & Analytics

  • Define and monitor key onboarding metrics such as joining ratio, onboarding timelines, and early employee engagement.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from new hires to continuously improve onboarding programs.
  • Implement initiatives that enhance the overall employee onboarding experience and reduce early attrition.
  • Generate reports and insights to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of employee onboarding, HR operations, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
  • Process-oriented mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage high-volume onboarding operations and drive process improvements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • 6–8 years of experience in HR operations, employee onboarding, or HR process management roles.
  • Experience in managing onboarding for medium to large organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive operational efficiency.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources or a related field preferred (MBA).

  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates for skills and cultural fit.
  • Schedule interviews, manage feedback, and ensure timely closure of positions.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and recurring B2B roles.
  • Track and manage recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, etc.).
  • Ensure smooth candidate experience from first interaction to onboarding.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in Talent Acquisition
  • Proven experience in hiring for frontline and leadership roles in B2B Sales.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – able to collaborate with business heads, HR partners, and hiring managers.
  • Excellent sourcing skills using LinkedIn, Naukri, job portals, social media, and networking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / recruitment dashboards for reporting.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR / Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment practices.
